SOUTH PEACE RURAL COMMUNITY LEARNING ASSOCIATION REQUIRES AN ADULT LITERACY COORDINATOR AT OUR BEAVERLODGE OFFICE Literacy Coordinator: manage the volunteer tutor adult literacy program 21-27 hrs per week Sept 1 - May 31st, Note: Occasional evenings and weekend work required; training & approx. 12 hours per month required during June, July & August Must have own Vehicle and valid drivers license Qualifications: B.Ed & experience in teaching adults basic skills and ESL Computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet, email Duties: • Recruitment, training and supervision of program volunteers and paid staff. • Assessment and development of learning plans with adult learners · Program record management, budget preparation and financial administration. • Preparation of Alberta Advanced Education and Board reports.
